In the past, there was a vulnerability in the ICQ system that allows you to know the status of a contact, even if it is invisible. At present, it has been eliminated, and now the invisible interlocutor can only determine the moment of the status change, but not exactly what he has become.
Instructions
Step 1
Install the Bombus Jabber client on your phone. Do not use modified versions of this client as they can steal passwords. You can also install it on a desktop or laptop using the Microemulator, provided that Java software is already installed on the machine.
Step 2
Register on any Jabber server. Enter the data received during registration (username and password) in the appropriate fields of the client. Connect to the server.
Step 3
Find a gateway to access from Jabber to ICQ. To do this, select the "Tools" - "Browse Services" item in the Bombus menu. When the list appears, add the desired server to it by selecting the "Server" menu item and entering the domain name, and then selecting the "Browse" item. In the list that appears, select the gateway that is intended for access to ICQ. It must be executed on the PyICQt "engine", and not by another (for example, Openfire or JIT). Then select Browse again. Move the pointer to the "Registration" line and select the "Browse" item again. Enter your credentials from your ICQ account.
Step 4
If it was not possible to find the ICQ gateway on one server or another, try to find it on another. Do not use gateways on servers with a bad reputation, as they can also steal passwords.
Step 5
Contacts from ICQ will be automatically added to your Jabber contact list. Go to the one whose status changes you want to track, press the number 5, and then select the menu item "Contact" - "Client version". In response, you will see the version of the program on which the gateway is running.
Step 6
Now, whenever a contact, being invisible to you, changes its status, the time of its change will appear under the client's version. But what exactly the status was before the change, and what it became, you will not be able to find out.
