Step 1
Most often, ActiveX controls are enabled after a pop-up message appears. Click the Options button to open the Security Options applet. Here you should select the option "Include this content". Content loaded with ActiveX will only be active for the current session.
Step 2
Pay attention to the display of alerts for the Internet browser and programs from the Microsoft Office suite - they will be different. In the first case, notifications can be observed on the message panel, in the second case - in any dialog box.
Step 3
For Microsoft Office documents, you can cancel the display of notifications once and for all. To do this, you must move the object to a different security zone - a safe location. When you change any security settings in one program of the office suite, these add-ins are automatically applied to other utilities and editors.

In the text editor MS Word, to enable ActiveX controls, you must press the large button with the image of the Microsoft Office logo. In the menu that opens, go to the "Word Options" item, which is located at the bottom of the open window. Then select the Trust Center item.

In the window that appears, click the "Trust Center Settings" button. Left-click on the ActiveX Settings link and select any option.

In the MS Excel formula editor, to enable ActiveX controls, press the large button with the Microsoft Office logo. Then click on Excel Options and navigate to Trust Center.
