Facebook is not convenient for many, especially often unnecessary blocks that appear are annoying. One of these blocks, occupying a large part of the page, is "You may know them …". But it can be removed.
Instructions
Step 1
First you have to install the Adblock Plus extension in your browser, you can do this on the adblockplus.org/ru website or on the store page of your browser extensions. By the way, I advise you to install this extension in any case. It will allow you to get rid of annoying advertisements on the Internet.
Step 2
Let's consider how to remove the "You may know them" block using this extension using the Google Chrome browser as an example (the solution is similar for other browsers). So, after you have installed the Adblock Plus extension, go to its settings.
Step 3
Select the "Personal Filters" section. Copy the line:
facebook.com ## div [class = "megaphone_location_home"]
in an empty field and click Add Filter.
Step 4
Then also add the line:
facebook.com ### pagelet_ego_pane_w
Now, after refreshing the facebook.com page, there will be no annoying block.
