uCoz is one of the most popular content management systems. This CMS has gained its popularity due to its simplicity and flexibility, which allows you to significantly expand the capabilities of the resource. One of these possibilities is to create a chat on uCoz websites.
Instructions
Step 1
In order to create a chat on the site, enter the administrator section in the ucoz system, then study the additional settings in the upper corner of the screen. There, select the "Administration" tab, then go to the mini-chat settings. Activate it by clicking on the corresponding button. After that, a small window with a text field will appear on your site, this is your chat. But this is not enough to make a better chat in ucoz; you need to configure it correctly. After enabling this module, the chat settings panel will be available to you. Some settings will still remain hidden for you, since they are moderated directly by the site administration. However, most of it will still be at your disposal.
Step 2
Once all the preparations are complete, proceed with the chat setup. You can, for example, set its colors, fonts, etc. Having a rich imagination with not very rich chat capabilities of the uCoz system, you can create a real entertainment portal. Every time you enter the site, you do not need to turn on the chat again. It is enough to do this once. The system will remember the current parameters and will no longer require switching on.
Step 3
Also, in order to create a chat on the sites of the Ucoz system, it is not necessary to use standard tools. To do this, open the site builder. After logging into your site under the administrator's login, carefully study the upper panel that opens, in which find the "Constructor" button and click on it. A window of various multifunctional module blocks will open. Create one. Go to its settings and click on the HTML tab. In the text box that opens, enter the chat code. This code can be easily found on the net. This method is good because you have the opportunity to individually select the chat module you need, not being limited to standard tools.
