If children have access to your home computer, especially in those moments when you are not at home, then you may have encountered their visit to "unwanted" sites. In order to close such sites for viewing, use one of the simple methods.

Step 1
First of all, create a guest account for the child. This will prohibit the ability to change the settings of programs and systems with which you restrict his access to the network. Protect the administrator account with a password.
Step 2
Use a specialized program to control your activity on the Internet, for example, Kindergate Parental Control. Set a password for starting and uninstalling the program, then add the site addresses to the list of blocked ones and save the changes made. Perform these steps under an administrator account.
Step 3
You can also use additional antivirus features to block access to unwanted sites. Let's consider this option using the Eset Nod 32 antivirus as an example. Run the application, then open it in the active window and press the F5 button. The menu "Protection and Internet access" will open in front of you. Go to the "Address Management" section and add those sites that you do not want to visit to the list of blocked addresses. Save your changes and password protect your settings.
Step 4
Log in to your computer with an administrator account. Start a search on your computer, specifying the name of the hosts file in the search field. If this step is not successful, open the folder located at Windows / System32 / drivers / etc and locate this file yourself. Click on the hosts file with the right mouse button and select the "Open with" menu and use the "Notepad" program. Using this file, you can deny access to Internet resources. At the end of the file, enter the following lines: 127.0.0.1 website.com127.0.0.1 www.website.com127.0.0.1 website 02.com127.0.0.1 www.website 02.comWebsite.com and website02.com are addresses sites that you need to block. Just in case, duplicate the name of each site using the www prefix. Then save your changes and close the file.
