E-mail messages are exported using the corresponding menu item of the program you are using. Almost all email clients have a similar algorithm of actions, the only difference may be in the message file formats. The Bat! the message list is in the same format as in Mozilla Thunderbird.

Step 1
Open the mail client The Bat! on your computer. Select all those letters that you want to export to Mozilla Thunderbird in the future by pressing the combination of the left mouse button and the Ctrl key (if you want to select all letters, use the Shift key and click on the last letter in the mail client list). Go to the tools section and select to export the letters you selected, select UNIX mailbox.

In the window that appears, select the location for the file with your letters, do not forget it. Confirm the operation. It is best to use a variant of the file name with underscores between words, first the name of your mailbox, then the name of the folder for exported messages. In the future, this will greatly simplify the transfer of messages to Mozilla Thunderbird.

Close the mail client The Bat !. In the “Mail” directory, copy the “Local Folders” folder in the profile directory. After that, find a similar folder for the Mozilla Thunderbird client, and then copy the data from the above folder and the file with exported messages that you saved earlier into it.

Restart Mozilla Thunderbird, after which you will find the copied letters in it in a special menu, to open which go to the program toolbar and open the account settings. Open the "Archive" section.

If you need to export not only, for example, incoming messages from The Bat! Client, save all sections separately, remembering to specify the names separated by underscores. Please note that not all email clients support the same message file format, so if mail is exported between two programs working with different file types, use special editors and converters to convert them.
