Step 1

Determine the folder from which mail should be exported. View the contents of the existing folders by highlighting them sequentially in the list of the All Mail Folders section of the Mail panel. Remember the name of the folder you want.

Step 2

Start the Import and Export Data Wizard. From the Outlook main menu, select File and Import / Export ….

Step 3

Switch to data export mode. In the Select the desired action list in the Import and Export Wizard, select Export to File. Click "Next".

Select the file format to which the mail will be exported. In the Create Next File Type list of the Import and Export Wizard, select the item corresponding to your preferred format. Click "Next".

Step 5

Specify the folder that will serve as the data source and, if necessary, configure the export settings. In the "Export from folder" tree, select the item with the name defined in the first step. If you export to an Outlook Personal Folders (pst) file, additional options will be available in the wizard. In this case, consider checking the Include Subfolders check box and filtering the exported data. Otherwise, click Next.

Configure export mail filtering options, if necessary. Click on the "Select" button. In the dialog that appears, specify the conditions for data selection. So, you can limit the export area only to letters received or sent to specific recipients, letters containing specific text, etc. After selecting the required options, click the OK button. In the wizard window, click Next.

Step 7

Export Outlook mail. On the last page of the wizard, in the "Save file as" field, enter the path and name of the file where the data will be placed. Or click the "Browse" button and select a directory and name in the dialog that appears. Click the Finish button. Wait for the export process to finish.
