Knowing the structure of the site helps you quickly find the information you need on it. Some resources have a sitemap, but most do not. In this case, some network services and specialized programs can help you.

Step 1
To find out what pages are on the site, use the Google search engine. Its crawlers index almost every existing page, making Google a very convenient tool. To view a list of site pages, enter its name in the search box in the format site: site_name. For example, if you want to see a list of pages on the website of the government of the Russian Federation, enter the line site: government.ru/ into a search engine.
Step 2
For more visual information use the network service https://defec.ru/scaner/. Enter the name of the site you are interested in in the search field, in the example with the site of the government of the Russian Federation it will be https://government.ru. There is no slash at the end of the address. Enter the digits of the security code, press the SCAN button. You will see a fairly complete map of the site you are interested in. In the scan settings, you can select additional options - for example, scanning files and folders that are prohibited from indexing.
Step 3
You can view the sitemap with the small SiteScaner utility. It exists both in the console version and in the more familiar Windows users - that is, with a windowed interface. The console version is easier to find. The program works very well, therefore it is quite popular with hackers. With its help, you can even get to those directories to which there are no links. Antivirus programs can block the utility, mistaking it for unwanted software. Therefore, the antivirus should be disabled while working with the program.

Very detailed information about the site can be obtained using the Semonitor software package. The program is paid, but its demo version, which quite copes with determining the structure of the site, you can download for free from the manufacturer's website:

To determine the structure of the site, you need only one of the modules of the Semonitor program - Site Analyzer. Run it, enter the website address in the search field, then click the Analyze button. A map of the site you are interested in will appear in front of you.
