Step 1
To start editing an image, you first need to open it in Photoshop. Click on the image with the right mouse button and hover over "Open with". If there is no option to open the file through Photoshop in the window that appears, click on the "Open with" menu and use the "Browse" option to find the program in the general list. You can also open images through running Photoshop. To do this, in the "File" option, select the "Open" menu and open the desired image.
Step 2
To set a specific size for an image, you need to do the following. On the top toolbar of the program, click on the "Image" menu. Here you will see the "Resize" option. Click on it and set the desired image parameters. Please note that if you want to preserve the correct display of the image when it is enlarged, when resizing the image, check the box next to the "Maintain aspect ratio" item and only then set the values you need. If you do not do this, the image will be distorted (if you change its height, the width will remain the same, as a result of which the picture will be stretched).
Step 3
After you've made the desired edits to the image, you need to save the image. Click the File menu and select Save As. Here, give the picture the desired name and format, and then click the "OK" button. The avatar will now be resized.
