Instructions

Step 1

Create a new password for your Facebook page. It shouldn't repeat the first part of your email that your social media account is linked to. It is also not recommended to choose the date of birth, name and other data that can be found on your page as the security code. If you also use other social networks, try to come up with a separate password for Facebook. Otherwise, if your page is hacked, for example, on the Odnoklassniki social network, your page on www.facebook.com will most likely be hacked as well. At the same time, your password should be easy to remember so that you do not have problems when logging into the social network.

Step 2

To change your current Facebook password, log into your account at www.facebook.com. If authorization did not happen automatically, enter your username and current password on the main page of the social network. After that, your personal page on the Facebook website will open in front of you.

Step 3

At the end of the blue line, which is at the top of the site, you will see an arrow. Move the cursor to it and click with the left mouse button. A list of commands will open in front of you. Select the fourth item from the bottom "Settings" and click on it.

Step 4

In the "General Account Settings" window that opens, there is a "Password" field. To the right of it you will see the "Edit" command. Click on it with the left mouse button. In the fields that open, first enter your current password, and then enter a new one. When you enter a new password, Facebook will leave hints to determine and select the most secure code. Create a password that will make you see the comment: "Password complexity: High security." This means that it is almost impossible to guess your password, so it will be extremely difficult to hack your Facebook page. After you have chosen the new password that is optimal for you, repeat it in the "Confirm new password" field. To finish changing the password, click the "Save changes" button.

Step 5

From now on, your old password will be changed, and when you log into your Facebook account, you will need to enter a new code. So that no one can enter your Facebook page without your knowledge under your name, do not tell anyone your password and do not save it in documents on your computer.
