There are two ways to enter OS Windows: classic, in which the username and password are requested, and through the welcome window, in which the login is performed automatically. If you use classic login, you can create an account that is invisible to other users and to the administrator.
Instructions
Step 1
If you want to make a new member invisible, go to the “Control Panel” from the “Start” menu and double-click the “User Accounts” icon. Choose the item "Create an account".
Step 2
Call the "Open" window with the keyboard shortcut Win + R or activate the "Run" option from the "Start" menu. Enter the regedit command. On the left side of the Registry Editor window, locate the HKEY_LOCAL_MACHINESoftwareMicrosoftWindowsNTCurrentVersionWinlogonSpecialAccountsUserList folder.
Step 3
The properties of the folder are displayed on the right side. To open the context menu, right-click and confirm the "Create" action. Click DWORD Value on the shortcut menu. Enter the name of the participant you want to make invisible. Right-click on this entry and select the "Change" command from the drop-down menu. If you want to make the user invisible, enter "0" in the "Value" field. To cancel invisibility, delete this parameter or change its state to "1".
Step 4
Reboot your computer. When the authorization window appears, press Ctrl + Alt + Delete twice. In the new window, enter the username and password of the hidden participant. This account will be visible only to the user who logs into the system under this username.
Step 5
There is another way to create an invisible account. Open the "Administration" and "Local Policies" icons in sequence. Look for "Online Login: Do Not Display Last Name". It is disabled by default. Call the drop-down menu by clicking the right button and select the "Properties" item. Move the switch to the "Enable" position and confirm the selection by pressing OK. The account under which these manipulations were performed will become invisible to the rest of the participants and to the administrator.
