Step 1
First of all, you need to log into "Mail. Ru Agent" under your account. To do this, you need to do the following: start "Mail. Ru Agent", enter your e-mail address, password from it and click "OK".
Step 2
After launching the "Mail. Ru Agent" already ready to work, you will see the program window on the right side of the screen (however, you can change its location as you wish). Pay attention to the Mail. Ru Agent icon in the tray. After entering the program, it should change from a red dog sign ("@") to green, which means that you are online. This is your status.
Step 3
To change it, right-click on the icon, hover the cursor over the inscription "My status" and select one of the options offered: "Online", "Ready to chat", "Away", "Invisible", "Do not disturb", " Disabled”(please note that in the latter case you will not be able to continue communication)
Step 4
In addition, you can select "Edit …" and set your own status. To do this, in the window that opens, simply select the picture that suits you from the drop-down list and write your own status next to it.
Step 5
However, in this case, you will not be able to write a large text, due to the existing limit on the number of characters. If the text that you need to write in the status is longer than what the limit allows, you can write it next to it, in the same window, under the heading "Microblog".
