There you will see three links. One of them offers to leave this user in subscribers. Click on it. This user will be able to read your updates, but their posts will not appear in your news feed. Step 2
You can transfer a mutual friend to subscribers if the page does not arouse your particular interest. To do this, simply remove the user from the friends list. Go to his page. Under the photo you will see a line indicating that such and such a user is your friend and can read all materials shared with friends. A pop-up window will appear in front of you, offering to exclude the user from your friends list. By doing this, you will automatically convert it to subscribers. If the user tries to start to sort things out, and you do not want to offend him, explain that you would like to keep in touch with as many people as possible, but you cannot expand your friend feed indefinitely.
Step 3
In other social networks, this issue is solved in much the same way. True, the concept of "subscriber" is not everywhere. For example, in LiveJournal it is possible to receive notifications about updates of a magazine you are interested in, without even including this user in your friend feed. You will simply receive private messages with post texts. On this social network, you may not know at all how many followers you have. Another option is also possible. It is exactly the same as in VKontakte, that is, you simply exclude a magazine you are not interested in from your friend feed.
