Step 1
Connect to the Internet using a landline or mobile phone, USB modem or DSL line.

Collect information on the Internet about providers providing network access services using satellite. Using the coverage maps, check whether the area where you live falls within the coverage area of signals from transponders operated by those providers whose tariffs are most acceptable for you.

After selecting a specific provider and satellite (transponder), write down the signal parameters: symbol rate, frequency, polarization, FEC coefficient value, signal strength. Based on these data, determine the type of converter required (C- or Ku-band) and the antenna diameter.
Step 4
Purchase satellite equipment: a satellite dish, a DVB network card, a converter, an antenna cable. Mount it.
Step 5
Install the software for the network card, enter the signal parameters into the tuner program. Orient the antenna towards the satellite so that the tuner program detects the presence of a signal. Align the antenna with the correct orientation so that the signal strength is maximized.
Step 6
Register on the website of the satellite provider as a client. After confirming the registration, go to your personal account and, using the information available there, select one of the offered tariffs.
Step 7
Pay for the Internet access service in any of the possible ways. Check the passage of the payment according to the balance in the account - it should display the transferred amount.

Select your connection type. Usually providers offer several, each of which has its own characteristics. Choose the one that works best for your type of terrestrial connection and your way of using the Internet.

Enter the required data in the forms available in your personal account: MAK-address of the network card, the selected connection method. Download the program for this type of connection and the data required to configure the DVB card (PIDs, IP addresses).
Step 10
Following the instructions provided, install the program (connection type) on the computer, enter the downloaded data into the DVB-card tuning program, make the necessary settings. The result of this work should be access to the Internet via satellite. If this does not happen, check the settings or contact the provider's support.
