But in a village where the population is small, connecting to a dedicated Internet line is a problem, since it is unprofitable for providers to stretch a multi-kilometer cable for the sake of a small number of users. But this does not mean at all that it is impossible to use the Internet outside the city. You can bring wireless internet into your home.

Step 1
To have access to the Internet while in the village, you can use the services of mobile operators. To do this, first select a mobile operator that will provide access to the 3G or CDMA network. Compare the rates and make sure that your locality is on the map of the Internet coverage of the company you like.

Usually on the network coverage map, the reception areas of stable and weak signals are indicated in different colors. Try to choose an Internet provider with a strong signal area for your settlement, as a weak connection will often drop.

Purchase a modem and a SIM card connected to the selected tariff. Insert the SIM card into the modem, which then plug into the USB port of the computer.

When the "Found New Hardware Wizard" window appears, select "Automatic installation" so that the program will automatically install the necessary drivers on your computer. Install the program for the modem from the disk and make the necessary settings for connecting to the Internet.

If you want the Internet to be available to all residents of the house, then purchase also a router (router) with support for USB modems. To set up your router, first turn off your computer and connect an internet cable to the LAN port on the back of the device.

Then connect the USB modem to the required connector on the router panel. Turn on the router by connecting the adapter first to the device and then to an electrical outlet. Turn on your computer and wait for the operating system to fully load. Then, according to the instructions, configure the router through the specified web service.

If your home is outside the coverage area of 3G and CDMA wireless networks, and you want to have an Internet speed comparable to the speed of a dedicated line, then connect to satellite Internet.

To do this, install a satellite dish with a diameter of about 90 centimeters, placing it on any of the walls of the building. Then point the antenna at the satellite, attach the satellite receiver, and set up your computer. If this causes you difficulties, then you can invite a specialist for these works.
