Opera is a popular internet browser created by Telenor researchers in Norway. The program was launched in 1994. Since 2005, Opera PC and Opera Mini software are distributed free of charge, and since 2009 a version for a mobile phone has also appeared.
It is necessary
- - PC or other digital device;
- - installed browser.
Instructions
Step 1
Browser versions for different electronic devices have common menu features, so you can set the start page in the browser using the same actions on the computer and phone. Open the Tools menu on the toolbar.
Step 2
Then select the "Settings" item and the "General settings" sub-item.
Step 3
The dialog box that appears will open the General tab. The first two lines in the tab determine which page to open when starting the browser.
Step 4
In the "At startup" column, set the required item: continue the previous session, open a blank page or open the home page. Below is a field for entering the address of the home page. Specify the address of the resource that you want to make the starting one.
Step 5
Press the OK button to save the start page settings and exit the menu. Restart your browser to check if the settings are active.
Step 6
With certain browser view settings, the toolbar is not visible at the top. In this case, to manage all the settings, click the “Opera” logo (white Latin letter “O” on a red background) in the upper left corner of the browser. Find the item "Settings" and then proceed according to the first algorithm.
Step 7
If you wish, you can get by by pressing a certain combination on the keyboard. Menu "Basic settings" is called by simultaneously pressing Ctrl + F12. The current keyboard layout does not matter. The already familiar dialog box will appear, you just have to make the appropriate changes to the launch settings and address.
