Step 1
Internet users tend to delete their web search history for various reasons, one of which is the desire to hide the search phrases. The setting for this option will vary for the Internet Explorer series of browsers.
Step 2
Internet Explorer 6. In the main window of the running program, click the top menu "Tools" and select "Internet Options". In the window that opens, go to the "General" tab and click on the "Clear log" button.

Internet Explorer 7. After starting the program, open the top menu "Tools" and select the line "Delete Browsing History". In the window that opens, click the "Delete log" button, you will see a dialog box in which you need to click "Yes" or press the Enter key.

Internet Explorer 8 and above. Open the top menu "Tools" and select the line "Delete Browsing History". You will see a window in which you need to put a check in front of the item "Log and" Data of web forms "and click the" Delete "button.

Mozilla Firefox. Open the top menu "Tools" and select "Erase Recent History". You will see a dialog box in which you need to click the drop-down list "Clear" and select the desired line. Then open the "Details" menu and select "Forms and search history" and "Visit and download history". Click on the "Clear Now" button and close the current window.

Google Chrome. Open your browser. In the open window, click the wrench icon (the "Settings" button), which is located in the upper right corner. In the context menu, select the "Tools" line and click on the "Clear browsing data" item. Then check the box "Clear browsing history" and click the "Clear browsing data" button.
