In order for the site you have created to start appearing in search results, it must be added to the index of search engines.
It is necessary
Availability of a site, access to the site via FTP, availability of mail on Yandex
Instructions
Step 1
After you enter your mailbox on Yandex, write the following URL in the address bar: webmaster.yandex.ru. Thus, you will find yourself on the webmaster's page, through which you can add your site to the Yandex index, as well as further monitor its indexing and analyze changes.
Step 2
Click the Add Site link. Here you will be asked to enter the website address, after which you will have to confirm the ownership of the resource. The simplest and most popular way is to insert the meta tag proposed by Yandex into the header code of your site. Copy the text fragment that will be provided to you by the system, then write it in the Header.php file and save the changes, note that the text should be located between the and tags. After completing these steps, click the "Check" button in the webmaster's panel. From this moment, the site is queued for indexing by the search engine. Please note that the site can be indexed, both within three days and within two weeks.
Step 3
In addition to inserting a meta tag, you can also choose a different method of verifying ownership of the site. This can be done using a special text file that will need to be uploaded to the root folder of your site. You can download this file directly in the webmaster's panel. To upload a document to the root directory, use FTP access to the site content (access data is specified when activating hosting).
Many are confused about what the root directory is. In fact, everything is simple - the root of your site is nothing more than a folder on the hosting where the resource is installed. It is in this folder that you need to download the Yandex file. After uploading the document, in the webmaster's panel, click on the "Confirm" button. Soon the site will be available in general search results.
