The email address must be entered as correctly as possible. An incorrectly entered e-mail may result in the impossibility of sending the message or not receiving it by the addressee. To specify the correct address, you need to understand the structure of the email address, and what each of its parts is responsible for.

Step 1
Conventionally, each email address can be divided into two parts. You can distinguish an email address from almost a website address by paying attention to the spelling of the character set. All email addresses have the @ symbol. The absence of this symbol means that the address displayed on the screen is not an e-mail.
Step 2
To the left of the @ symbol is the name of the user to whom the message is being sent. This name is responsible for identifying the account on the mail server. Many people set in this part a combination of Latin letters that make up the first and last name. Consider this sequence carefully before entering the address to avoid typing errors.
Step 3
The @ sign is followed by the identifier of the server on which the email box is located. Most often, it matches the name of the mail service on which the user's mailbox is registered. For example, the address [email protected] indicates that the user with the name account uses an email address on the yandex.ru server, which is one of the most common on the Russian Internet.
Step 4
When starting to enter an email address, you should not specify the sequence www, as is done when accessing an Internet resource. Remember that the email address is not the equivalent of the website address and therefore follow the indication "www." unnecessary if these characters are not themselves part of the username.

The characters ".", "_" And "-" are often used in e-mail addresses. However, it should be remembered that entering other characters is prohibited by most other servers and the e-mail address often consists only of a set of letters of the Latin alphabet and numbers. Also, the use of letters of the Russian alphabet is not allowed when specifying an e-mail address.
