Every day we look at many sites, we get the necessary and not very information from them. With the help of portals, we communicate with friends and leave messages on forums, LiveJournal and social networks. At the same time, we never think about what all these Internet resources consist of.

What is a web page

Every site, forum, live journal, and any other resource viewed through a browser consists of a set of linked web pages. Everything that you view in your browser window: audio, video, photos, various texts, including this article - all this is contained on separate web pages and is called content. A web page is a document with any content included in it, posted on the Internet, and viewed through a web browser. Depending on the tasks, the pages that make up the sites can be page or dynamic. Static web pages By name it may seem that a static web page should have absolutely stationary content. But in reality this is not the case: such a page can contain moving animations, audio and even video recordings. And they are called static because they are a document with a completely pre-written unchanged code. These pages are written using a markup language called HTML. HTML is the very first and main language that is used to create Internet pages, but since its functionality is very limited, over time it became necessary to create cascading CSS style sheets. It was thanks to CSS that the first clumsy-looking pages began to take on a neater and more aesthetic look and became the way we see them today. Dynamic web pages The need for such pages arose very quickly. It is thanks to them that we can now easily search the site, create accounts on social networks, on forums, in LiveJournal, and use various online tests. Such pages are written using web programming languages: PHP, JSP, Java Servlet and ASP. NET. The difference between dynamic and static pages is that their code is generated programmatically. That is, when you enter a site that consists of dynamic web pages, the program on the server generates the code for the page displayed on the screen in accordance with the parameters you specified. You enter your username and password, and the program displays your page on the social network, on the forum. If you set the search parameters, you get a page, the code of which contains links to the search query.
