The Avito website allows many people to sell a variety of products without any problems. However, it also happens that ads are rejected. What is the reason? And what is Avito based on when checking ads?
On the Avito website, each new or edited ad is checked for compliance with the rules of the site. If the moderator finds no rejections, the ad appears in search results, usually within half an hour. If deviations are found, the user will be sent an email in which they will indicate:
- what exactly is the violation committed;
- how this violation can be corrected.
In the user's personal account, such data is duplicated and appears next to the rejected ad.
If the user does not make the necessary adjustments and does not correct the violation, the ad will automatically appear in the "deleted" folder, where it will lie for a month, and then it will be permanently deleted. And during this month, the user retains the opportunity to correct the ad and run it in the search.
Corrections are made according to the following algorithm:
- after reviewing the information in the letter or personal account, you need to open the ad and click on the "edit" button;
- then make the adjustments recommended by the moderator and click on the "continue" button;
- the system will prompt you to check the correctness of the changes, and if everything is correct, you need to click "continue" again, if some more changes are required, click "back" and make them.
After the correction, the ad goes back to the moderator for review, and after its approval it already appears in the search.
Among the main reasons for declining ads on Avito are the following:
- The title contains the user's contact information - links, phone number, postal address or messenger IDs. The fix implies the complete removal of contact information from the "name" field.
- Contact information in the photo or video attached to the ad. At the same time, it does not matter whose information it is - the user, someone else's - there should not be any phone numbers, links, QR codes, addresses. And photos with this data will have to be deleted. If there are contacts in the preview section of the video, it will need to be corrected.
- Contact information or links in the description of a product or service. They will also have to be completely removed.
- Invalid category selected for ad placement. In this case, the user must follow the recommendations of the moderator and correct the category. But it is worth remembering that on Avito it is impossible to post advertisements for buying, renting, accepting goods as a gift (with the exception of real estate).
- The user indicated an unrealistic price for the product. In this case, an incomplete price is considered unrealistic (for example, instead of 2400 rubles, 240 rubles are indicated), the price is not in rubles, in the "Real estate" section - the price per square meter, the price given by the range (for example, 150-300 rubles) or for several goods. In addition, it is not uncommon for users to mistakenly enter a phone number instead of the price.
Another reason for rejection of ads can be the value for the parameter "Ad Type". The fact is that this parameter must correspond to the user's activity on Avito: whether he sells his personal belongings, makes the goods himself or resells something bought elsewhere for sale - all this is reflected in the sales history and description in the ad. Moderators pay attention to this.
And if the user indicated "sell my own", but the content of his ad or the history of sales on the site contradicts this, the ad will be rejected.
