The first thing to note is that the opportunity to become a member of the "Freedom" group is not present in all parts of S. T. A. L. K. E. R. This concerns the last part of the game - "Call of Pripyat". What has replaced this opportunity and how to become a member of the "Freedom" group in other parts of the series?
Shadows of Chernobyl
In this episode of the legendary S. T. A. L. K. E. R. the player must immediately during the first visit of the Army warehouses approach Loki (the leader of the "Freedom" grouping, living on the second floor of the main building) and tell him that the "Duty" grouping will soon go by storm to their base, and the starting point the assault will be the hill behind the fence.
After the assault begins, it is necessary to provide active assistance to Svoboda, that is, to help its representatives repel the attack. After the attack, you should visit Loki again.
Loki will thank you for your help and give you a task - to deal with the informer. The task must be taken, but it is not worth eliminating the informer according to the given instructions. Instead, it is necessary to fail the assigned task (for example, by killing the informer ahead of time). After the failure of the mission, it is necessary to respond to a request for help in the area of the barrier and repel the attack of the "Monolith" grouping. The next step is to return back to the base and talk to Loki.
And that's all - after that, the Marked stalker is officially one of the members of the Svoboda group. True, this only works in the game version 1.0006.
It is worth considering that after the player becomes a member of "Freedom", he will automatically be deprived of the opportunity to walk around the "Bar" location, since it is the territory of the "Duty" grouping. Of course, with a fight, leaving a trail of defeated opponents, you can get into the bar itself, but there will be more problems than benefits.
Also, "Svoboda" is not on friendly terms with scientists, therefore, relations with them will be seriously damaged. At the same time, the user will be able to take Sakharov's assignments without any problems, but the scientist Kruglov will not exactly communicate.
Clear sky
In this part of the S. T. A. L. K. E. R. the developers themselves have blocked the opportunity for users to become part of the "Freedom" group ahead of schedule. The fact is that the player needs to start on the basis of the "Debt" grouping according to the plot, and also complete the task, which is one of the main plot quests. We are talking about the previously mentioned task of flooding the dungeons in the Research Institute "Agroprom".
If the user decides to become a member of the Freedom grouping before completing this mission, its leader will refer to some superstition and refuse the player's desire.
One of the important points that can provide assistance when joining the "Freedom" group is the passage of the game with an emphasis on helping this clan. Help consists in completing clan quests and in the destruction of representatives of the "Duty" group.
What will happen after joining the Svoboda group? The main plus / minus - friends in the form of "Freedom" and enemies in the form of "Duty". And on this, in fact, everything ends.
Call of Pripyat
As in "Duty", in the game "Call of Pripyat" you cannot join "Freedom". The maximum is to get an achievement called "Friend of Freedom". To do this, you need to hand over the PDA of the ammunition trader from Zator to the leader of the Svoboda clan. The same actions should be done with the PDA of the long-time soldier "Tachenka", who, together with the detachment, became a victim of a spatial anomaly.
And two more conditions for joining the Freedom grouping are to report to the leader about a stalker named Soroka-Flint and force the stalker Vagabond together with the fighters to become members of the Svoboda grouping.
In the "Call of Pripyat" part, membership in the "Freedom" group will lead to several consequences - the hostility of "Debt", price hikes from the Azot technician and discounts from the Hawaiian merchant.
