Thanks to mods, third-party programs that change the visualization of the game, the possibilities become even greater. The only limitation is fantasy. And it is also possible to put on the Captain America shield on the main character in this game!

Many Minecraft players are renowned for their creative approach to the game. Since the Marvel Universe has been rapidly gaining popularity among teenagers recently, mods closely related to it have been published on the Internet. Thus, it is now possible in the simulator to wear Captain America's shield instead of simple armor.
In fact, in the game, Captain America's shield was created purely for decorative purposes and replaces the default shield added to Minecrraft, having exactly the same properties and characteristics. However, with him, the character looks more stylish and intimidating. It can be held in both the main right and left hand.
You cannot throw it away. Can only be put into inventory or left in hand. The purpose of this artifact is simple - to absorb or reduce the damage inflicted on the player by opponents during a fight. You can also strike with a shield, but it will not do much damage.
Versions of the game in which the shield is available
Minecraft is a game created in 2009. Over the past ten years, the developers have released many versions of it, and not all of them have Captain America's shield available.
For version 1.10.2, which can be downloaded to a personal computer on the operating system Windows or Lunix / MacOS, there are many mods available that allow you to open the artifact of the character of the Marvel Universe. One of them is SFAtifacts. The shield will be available in creative mode. In survival mode, it will be impossible to get it.
On the mobile version of Minecraft: Pocket Edition, created for the Android operating system, Captain America's shield is also available thanks to the Captain AmericaShield Addon mod. It can be obtained by bargaining with Myron McLain (after all, it was he who created this artifact in the film) or in creative mode in the inventory.
How to activate the mod
To implement the Captain's shield in the game, you need to activate the downloaded mods, that is, move them to Minecraft files.
For Minecraft version 1.10.2, it is not particularly difficult to activate the mod - you just need to install the archive with the files, and then move them to the.minecraft / mods section. If the moods folder does not exist, then you need to create it, give the appropriate name. Activation will occur after restarting the game.
For the mobile version of Minecraft: Pocket Edition, the downloaded archive in the.zip extension must be unpacked. The resulting folder called Behavior needs to be moved to the behavior_packs folder, after which the mod will be activated. After restarting the game, you can create a new world - in which the shield will appear in the inventory in creative mode.
