Many experienced players know that the most dangerous time in Minecraft is night. When darkness falls on the game map, various monsters begin to spawn, which strive to take the lives of gamers' characters. However, not all of the latter are afraid of this. Moreover, many even regret that the night hours pass so quickly - in just a few minutes - and dream of extending them.

It is necessary

  • - administrator rights
  • - cheats
  • - special teams
  • - command block
  • - special plugin

Instructions

Step 1

If you are not terrified by the prospect that the morning in Minecraft may never come, and you will always be surrounded by darkness, try to arrange an eternal night. Just for a start, prepare well for it. Build at least one dwelling from very solid blocks (preferably from obsidian so that even kamikaze creepers cannot blow up such a building).

Step 2

Ideally, acquire several such shelters, where you could hide at least for a while from the monsters constantly spawning in favorable conditions for them and craft the tools, armor and weapons necessary to protect against them and extract useful resources. Light the premises outside and inside with torches in order to avoid the appearance of hostile mobs there.

Step 3

Stock up on a huge amount of wood and a furnace to turn it into coal and craft new light sources. Take those with you on any forays, especially into the mine. Now proceed with the installation of the eternal night. If you have admin rights for your multiplayer resource, use them. Enter two commands in a row on your console - / time (set) night (the word in brackets can be omitted), and after it / time pause. Now the night will "freeze" and will not be replaced by day.

Step 4

In the case when you play in a single player, even when generating the world, do not forget to register in its settings the possibility of using cheats. Already during the gameplay, to establish forever dark time of day, enter into the console several commands that are written in the CommandBook. The first of them is / time and an indication, separated by a space, or a numerical value corresponding to a particular time of night. Use numbers from about 13000 to 23000. You can also use the usual English time designation - for example, 0am, 23pm, etc.

Step 5

Now be sure to enter another command that will stop time at the above mark. It looks like this: / time - l now. However, make sure that this does not cause problems with devices based on the redstone, the work of which is tied to game time. If they stop working, it is better to use other methods of establishing eternal night. For example, install a special plugin - ProperTime. Select the ALWAYSNIGHT item in it - and you will have midnight in the game forever.

Step 6

Don't feel like messing around with plugins? Then just give yourself a special command block (usually available only in Creative mode and admins) by entering / give command_block into the console and specifying the required amount of such an item separated by a space. Place it in the right place, at some distance place any solid block with a button on it. In the interface of the first enter / time set 17000 and then connect it with redstone dust with the second. Press the button and an eternal night begins in Minecraft.
