Step 1
It is very easy to get tree seedlings in the game, for this you need to destroy several blocks of foliage. With a high degree of probability, you will receive a seedling. Usually, you have to destroy three to sixteen blocks of foliage to get a sprout of the future tree. It is very simple to do this, you do not need any additional tools, just a hand. When using scissors, you will receive blocks of foliage, but saplings will not fall out of it.
Step 2
Once you've got enough seedlings, head to the location where you want to grow the tree or grove. If you prefer a sedentary lifestyle to travel, sooner or later you will have to attend to the cultivation of a forest, since wood is an essential resource for life. Place the seedling on the quick access bar and right-click on the place where you want to plant it.
Step 3
For a seedling to germinate, it needs four blocks of free space directly above it and enough lighting. It should be noted that the foliage of neighboring trees is not taken into account when calculating the height. The minimum height of an "adult" tree is five blocks, of which four blocks are the trunk. The maximum height is sixteen blocks, thirteen of which make up the trunk.
Step 4
After planting a seedling, leave it alone, it will attempt to grow on its own at random intervals. During each attempt, the tree checks to see if it has enough light, and then randomly determines its future size. If there is enough light for the tree, but the size exceeds the space available to the seedling, the attempt to germinate is considered unsuccessful. This means that a tree planted in an open field will grow faster than one next to which there are some blocks.
Step 5
You can speed up the growth of the tree by applying bone meal to the seedling. This results in an extraordinary germination attempt, which means the tree can germinate instantly if all conditions are met. It should be noted that bone meal is consumed in case of failure.
