After that, most of the new products are gradually forgotten, go into oblivion, and only a few continue to gain popularity, acquiring sequels and prequels and gaining new fans. Whether the most anticipated games of 2018 presented below will become such units, only time will tell.
System Shock Remastered
The original System Shock project was very popular at the time, but inevitably outdated, mainly due to the graphics. The developers of the Fable series from Lionhead Studios have allowed us to repeatedly plunge into a magical fairy-tale world, and for this they are very thankful. But alas, in 2016 the company was disbanded.
However, do not rush to lose heart, because Peter Molenye and his fellows in the shop have created their own studio, bought the rights to develop the new part of Fable and got down to work! So on May 4, 2018, the world will see Fable 4, and we will once again walk around the familiar virtual world, swinging the sword to the right and left. And all this splendor, as usual, will definitely be seasoned with the developers' trademark humor.

The Cyberpunk 2077 project, included in the top "Most Anticipated Games on PC 2018", is not a continuation of any series, unlike the rest of the games in this top. It is gearing up for release on February 22, 2018. This is the open-world, free-to-play RPG that is so popular today.
However, the actions of "Cyberpunk" will take place not in the medieval or fantasy world we are used to with elves, orcs and other fabulous races, but in the distant future, where robots have long ceased to be a wonder. And these very robots, who are under the thumb of greedy and cruel people, have to desperately fight the system. In this game you get the role of one of the robots, whose task is to organize resistance and get rid of the tyranny of mankind.
Final Fantasy XVI
The first part of the famous epic Final Fantasy was released by the Japanese from Square (now Square Enix) back in 1987, and since then, to the delight of fans, 14 more games have seen the light (not counting many spin-offs for different platforms). Moreover, Final Fantasy XVI is preparing for the release on April 13, 2018. And the Japanese are not tired of riveting "fantasies" one by one! However, it is worth giving them their due: each game is a true masterpiece of the gaming industry, a classic tactical RPG. And if you are a fan of this genre, then you can hardly miss such an event.
Resident evil 8
The next series of another mega-popular gaming saga called Resident Evil, on which 6 films have already been shot, is expected to be released on April 23 next year. Fans of global strategies have not yet had time to play enough of the 6th "Civilization", and Sid Meier is already preparing another present for us - this is the new game Civilization VII. The graphics in it will become noticeably better, but the plot is unlikely to undergo significant changes. You still have to develop the state, starting with 1 city, in order to eventually conquer world domination and, if you wish, solve a number of secondary tasks. The approximate release date of the game is April 23, 2018.

And I will finish the top "Most Anticipated Games on PC in 2018", perhaps with another Dragon Age series, the fourth in a row. The estimated date for Dragon Age 4 is June 23, 2018.
