Minecraft almost immediately became an international game. It is played by gamers from different parts of the world and from a variety of devices running on the most famous operating systems. Therefore, novice players who want to try their hand at the beloved by many "sandbox" often need to correctly install it not only on Windows, but also, for example, on MAC OS X.
It is necessary
- - Java
- - Minecraft installer
Instructions
Step 1
If the device from which you plan to play Minecraft is the brainchild of Apple and therefore runs exclusively on the operating system MAC OS X, install the exact version of the game that suits it. However, make sure you have Java installed first. Without this software platform, which ensures the normal operation of many graphic components of the game, it will not function or even run. Although you can find an installer in Java on many portals, it is better to download it from the website of its manufacturer - this is more reliable.
Step 2
Choose the version of Java that matches the parameters of your operating system. For this, the MAC must be at least build 10.7.3 or newer. Start the installation wizard by first double-clicking on the installation file and then on the package icon on the screen that appears. The procedure is almost completely automated. You just need to accept the license agreement at the very beginning and, when required, click "Continue" and "Install". After installation, check if Java is actually working by launching a special package from the portal of its manufacturer.
Step 3
Download the installer suitable for your system from the official Minecraft website. To do this, click on the inscription Download it here on the main page of the portal. If you want to purchase a license for the game, click on Get Minecraft and create a Mojang account. After receiving an e-mail from the site, proceed in accordance with the instructions sent to you. Pay for the purchase of the game, follow the link to complete the registration process. After that, download the installation file with the.dmg extension from minecraft.net, suitable for MAC OS X.
Step 4
After saving the above document to any convenient place on the disk space of your computer, and only then start the installation process. By default, for the installation of Minecraft, the system will select the Applications directory, about which you will receive a corresponding notification. Upon completion of the installation, go to the resulting folder with the game and launch its client (for convenience, you can copy it to your desktop to make it easier to launch the gameplay in the future). Enter in the required lines the username and password you specified during registration. In the case when you use "pirate", choose the offline game. Wait for the creation of a new world in Minecraft and enjoy the opportunities that have opened up to you.
