After the creation of a website for public services, it became possible to issue a passport via the Internet. Any citizen of the Russian Federation who has passed the registration procedure and filled out a questionnaire has the right to do this.
Instructions
Step 1
Before you send an application for a new foreign passport, you need to register. To do this, go to the website www.gosuslugi.ru and find the link "Citizenship, registration, visas". In the menu that opens, select "Get Passport". Check the one that suits you best of the three options.
Step 2
Find the "Apply" button. Click on it to start the registration process on the site. Enter in the required fields the real mobile phone number and e-mail number, as well as passport data and SNILS number. Only if it is available, you can draw up a foreign document via the Internet.
Step 3
After a while, a request for confirmation of registration will come to your e-mail. Click on the link in the email to proceed with the procedure. After that, the secret code and instructions will be sent to your mobile phone. Enter it in a special window in your personal account on the website www.gosuslugi.ru.
Step 4
The final step of registration is to receive another password by mail. This envelope will be sent to the address indicated on the registration stamp in the civil passport. It usually takes one to three weeks for shipment. After you enter the received code, you will have access to applying for a foreign passport.
Step 5
Fill out the application form by entering reliable information in the required columns and attaching a photo. Click the "Submit" button. If errors are found in the form, the system will not allow sending the questionnaire to the Office of the Federal Migration Service, and will highlight the inaccuracies in red. Correct them and try again.
Step 6
The questionnaire will be reviewed within one to four weeks. After that, the employees of the FMS department at the place of registration will contact you and ask you to appear with the original documents. Three to seven days after this visit, your passport will be ready.
