Many users of the popular Google Chrome browser, who switched to it from the Opera or Mozilla Firefox browsers, are puzzled by the question of how to customize the Quick Access Toolbar. Some people get very disappointed in the browser, not finding the panel in the standard settings, and return to their old software. But in vain, because Google has turned out to be a really powerful browser, with almost unlimited possibilities and flexibility in customization.

Instructions

Step 1

If you want to have a panel similar to the "Quick Access Panels" of Opera or Mozilla Firefox, you should not immediately contact the specialists, since you can configure this browser yourself. After installing Google Chrome, restart your computer and open your browser.

Step 2

Look carefully at the upper right part of the installed browser window and find there the Google Chrome settings and control button with the image of a wrench. After that, click on it with the left mouse button. From the drop-down menu, select the "Tools" item by placing the mouse cursor there.

Step 3

In the menu that opens on the side, select the item - "Extensions", move the mouse cursor over it and click on it with the left button. The Google Chrome extensions tab should now open. If you still do not have the necessary browser extensions installed, then you will be prompted to go to the extension gallery available in Google Chrome's arsenal. Do so. In the gallery, in a somewhat chaotic order, there is a huge amount of software for the Google Chrome browser, including very interesting software created by both Google developers and third-party companies.

Step 4

Find an extension called Speed Dial in the gallery and click the Install Extension button. Another tab will open where they will say "Thank you" in English. Just close this tab. You can also close the tab with the gallery, as you will no longer need it for now.

Step 5

Now each new tab will open with a panel that has the same look and feel as the "Quick Access Toolbar" in Opera or Mozilla Firefox, and you can enjoy the convenient work with your favorite pages and faster access to them.
