The social network "VKontakte" allows you to correspond with other users of the site in message mode (old mode) or dialogues (new mode). You can delete correspondence with a specific user or friend through dialogs, and all incoming or outgoing messages - through the message display mode.
Instructions
Step 1
To delete all correspondence with a specific user (dialogue), go to "My Messages" on your VKontakte page. Select the dialog with the user and at the level of the "Dialogues" and "View dialogs" tabs find the link "Actions". It is located in the upper right corner above the dialogue text.
Step 2
Click on this link and select "Clear message history" from the drop-down menu. A warning message will appear on the screen, in which the site developers will warn you about the impossibility of restoring the dialogue in case of deletion, as well as the "Delete" and "Cancel" buttons. Click "Delete" to delete the conversation with the person.
Step 3
To delete a large number of messages at once, follow the links:

vkontakte.ru/mail.php?out=1&cnt=500 - outgoing messages
Scroll down the page with messages as low as possible - old messages will be automatically loaded. After that, go back to the top of the page, click the “all” link in front of the “Select” field and the blue “Delete” button that appears next to it. In this mode of deleting messages, VKontakte does not warn the user about the impossibility of restoring deleted messages.
