The web pages are filled with various images. Some of them are designed to make the site brighter and more interesting, some invite you to play online, and often place advertisements on sites in the form of pictures. How to turn off unnecessary images and make your work on the Internet as convenient as possible?
Instructions
Step 1
How often on the Internet we came across intrusive ads, opened random pop-up windows, were distracted from work by an interactive game. Many images that surround the pages of the sites we need are surrounded by unnecessary information: it distracts attention, interferes with concentration, and sometimes offends dignity. In addition, each open image has a certain weight, and Internet traffic is spent to open it. For users whose tariff calculates the volume of downloaded from the Internet, extra pictures can be a real waste of the budget.
Step 2
In order to adjust the display of images on pages, use the browser settings. In the Opera browser, you can edit the viewing of images on the "Status Bar". By default, it is located at the very bottom of the open browser page. If the "Status Bar" is hidden by your settings, open it using the "Menu" of the browser. Find the "Toolbars" field and bring the "Status Bar" to the working area of the screen by clicking on the checkbox next to it.
Step 3
After the "Status Bar" is displayed in the Opera browser, look for the images icon on it. Click on it and you will see a selection line for viewing an image: the browser can open all images for viewing, it can display only images saved in the cache memory, or prevent all images from appearing on the pages. Select the function you want and click on the checkbox next to it.
Step 4
To turn off the viewing of pictures in the Mozilla Firefox browser, in the open browser window, click on the "Tools" button. Select the Content option from the Settings context menu. Uncheck the Automatically Upload Images check box. Confirm your actions by clicking "Apply" and "OK".
