The ICQ app is one of the most popular tools for communicating with people around the world. The program is very simple and easy to use. ICQ also allows you to create chats for round-the-clock communication and unite people into special groups.
Instructions
Step 1
Download and install the Jimbot application on your computer. This is one of the most convenient tools for creating ICQ-based chats. You can also use the jArt Group version. Run the program. In the window that opens, select the "Chat module" menu item.
Step 2
Go to the "Connection Options" tab. Specify the appropriate settings. Select the number of UINs, it is better to set the number from 3 to 7. Enter your personal UIN in the appropriate field to select the necessary powers in the chat. Go to the "Account" tab.
Step 3
Enter the users of the chat. It is better to remove authorization if you want to speed up the process of adding interlocutors. Go to "Chat options" and specify the options that match your requirements. Come up with a name for the chat. After saving the parameters, the module can be closed and a test run of the bot can be performed.
Step 4
Use Topserver as an alternative chat tool. During installation, the application will create a new local drive, and upon completion, it will open a browser. Don't close it.
Step 5
Search the internet and download a suitable chat bot. Open the local drive you just created and create a folder in it called Bot. Copy all the bot files into it. Go to your browser and create a database with the same name (Bot). Start Command Prompt and type cmd. Select the jimbot.jar file. Enter the command java -jar jimbot.jar.
Step 6
Minimize the command line. Launch your browser and follow the link that appears in it. Enter your username and password. Usually the word admin is used by default. Thus, you will enter a new chat, after which you can start setting up it. Add a list of users and specify the appropriate permissions. Press the Start key to start chatting.
