Instructions
Step 1
Go to your e-mail box by entering your username and password on the main page of the site (free mail services are provided by many portals, for example, Mail.ru, Yandex.ru, Rambler.ru, Google.ru and others). If you need to refresh the page to learn about receiving new emails, use the control panel at the top of the page.
Step 2
Click on the "Check" button (in other options, "Update"). After that, the page will be refreshed and new letters will appear in the "Inbox" folder.
Step 3
Go to your Inbox from any other folder and you will see new emails, if any. By the way, when you move from one folder to another, all indicators will be updated automatically. And if a new letter appears in one of them, then you will definitely find out about it.
Step 4
Refresh the inbox page from the keyboard. While in your Inbox (or on the home page of your mailbox), press the F5 key. The page will be refreshed automatically, therefore, your incoming messages will be refreshed.
Step 5
If you are waiting for a response to your letter, then it is not necessary to constantly update the page. You can continue to work in the same browser in which the mailbox window is open. Opening other tabs, you will not see the mail, but when you receive a new letter, the tab will start flashing and show the inscription "You have 1 new letter" (or similar).
