The VKontakte social network allows its users to customize their personal page to their liking. You can change your information, add a new avatar or photo album, decorate your wall, etc.
Updating personal data
Start updating the page by editing your information. It's on the right side of the page. Click on the "Edit" button to change the data. You can indicate your contact information, as well as hobbies and interests, worldview. Separate tabs provide information about your education and current place of work. After editing all the required tabs, save them by pressing the appropriate key.
Select an avatar by clicking on the camera icon at the top left of the page. Provide the path to a suitable photo on your computer. Please note that the social network has special requirements regarding the photos you can upload. Check it out in advance, otherwise the site administration may block your access to the page.
Create photo albums and upload photos to them according to your liking. You can create an unlimited number of photo albums if they comply with the site rules. Each photo can be edited - make it more contrast, crop excess edges, etc.
Complete your wall. You can add text notes, images, music, videos and more here. You can also send here records from the walls of other users by pressing the appropriate key - do a "repost". In the same way, you can fill in the "Music" and "Video" sections on your page.
Additional functions
Add VKontakte friends. This can be done by using the people search service by various parameters. In the future, you will be able to correspond with your contacts. Even if a person does not want to add you as a friend, you will be subscribed to news and updates on his page. You can also join various groups and communities of interest. Interesting pages will be displayed in a special field of your profile, also decorating it in their own way.
Please note that updates on your page are happening in real time. For example, if a new post appears on your wall, someone sends you a message or a friend request, the post or photo "likes", a corresponding notification will immediately appear on the screen. However, some browsers, for one reason or another, do not immediately respond to such events. Press F5 from time to time to refresh the page and keep track of what is happening on it.
