The Invision Power Board is perhaps one of the best tools for presenting your site as a forum. This engine was written in languages like PHP and Javascript. Removing a user from your forum can be done in a few steps.
It is necessary
Access to the administration panel of the IP Board forum
Instructions
Step 1
First of all, you need to get access to the so-called "admin panel". Without her, it will be impossible to perform this action. To get to the admin panel, you need to go to your site and add some expression at the end of its name. Click in the address bar of your browser, place your cursor at the end of the line, and add /admin/index.php.
Step 2
Press Enter to load a new page. Here you will need to enter the username and password that you specified during the registration procedure. Then find the Users & Groups section in the general menu, select it and click the Delete User (s) button.
Step 3
On the loaded page, you need to put a checkmark in front of the item Where the member has less than posts and indicate the number 1. All other items should not be marked and filled, leave them unchanged. Press the Prune Members button, and you will see a list of users with the number of posts equal to 0. You can delete such unnecessary users by pressing just one Complete Member Pruning button.
Step 4
With the above method, you can delete at a time a large number of users, whose activities on the forum are always in deep doubt. However, this method also has pitfalls. For example, all remote users disappear from the database, and the numbers under which they went in the same database remain free. In most cases, this does not affect the loading speed of the site itself.
Step 5
If there are not so many users to be deleted, you can use the manual method: go to the Users & Groups section, select the required ones (by marking them with the mouse) and click on the Delete button. Deleted members of the forum will not leave an "empty" cell in the database, as in the past.
