Step 1

So, the creative stage of the work is left behind, the site is ready and functions perfectly on the home computer. Move the information to a server, for example, free hosting "Narod.ru".

Step 2

Come up with a name for the site, register it, then move to the "Workshop". Here you will see several sections: mail, management and editing, personal information, guestbook, search page.

The "Upload files to the site" tab is located in the "Edit and manage" section. Open it and select the files from your home computer, the ones that are ready to be sent. Before uploading files, check that the folder names should not contain Russian letters.

You can manage files through the built-in HTML editor. Edit and create new ones online. Use the hints that appear automatically when you hover the mouse cursor over any of the sections. In order to fix already uploaded files, check the box next to and select "Edit".

If there are a lot of files or you have chosen another server, upload information using an FTP client, use Total Commander. Run the program, find your site file, go to the control panel, open the "Network / Connect to FTP Server" item.

In the window that appears, click the "Add" button and write down the name of your site in the "Title" line. Write down the domain name in the "Server name" field. If you paid for hosting, the domain name was given to you on the website of the company that provided the services, or sent by email. Next, enter the password in the appropriate field, and for the convenience of connecting to the site, enter the following data in the “Catalog” field: / www / htdocs /, click OK.

Step 7

The site name should appear in the list of connections. Click on it with the mouse, a connection to the server will be established. You will see files and directories that are located in folders, just like on the local drive of your home computer. Copy your site and click Disable. Launch your browser, enter your own website address, and enjoy the results of your creative work.
