A skin (cover, wallpaper, and even skin) is usually called a graphical shell that changes the appearance of the window of an application. The familiar Mozilla Firefox browser can be transformed if you use themed wallpapers instead of the standard design.
Instructions
Step 1
The new skin will not add any additional features or buttons to Mozilla Firefox. In fact, only the design of the top and bottom bar of the browser will change, so you can get only aesthetic pleasure from the skin (wallpaper).
Step 2
To install a new skin, go to the site with add-ons for Mozilla Firefox at https://addons.mozilla.org/en/firefox and select the "Wallpaper" section. The available skins can be sorted and viewed according to various criteria and categories. On the wallpaper page, you can also "try on" the skin you like by hovering your mouse over it and waiting a couple of seconds.
Step 3
Select the skin you like from the collection and left-click on it. In a new window with detailed information about the skin, click on the "Add to Firefox" button. Confirm the changes. If you want to select several skins from the collection at once, and then change them according to your mood, repeat the steps for each new skin.
Step 4
Pay attention to the link-link "Add to collection". In this collection, the wallpaper will remain even if you have to uninstall the browser and then install it from scratch. Adding various Firefox add-ons to your personal collection is only possible if you have created your own account on the add-ons site.
Step 5
To change the skin, launch your browser and select Tools from the top menu bar. In the context menu, select the "Add-ons" item - a new tab will open. In the left part of the window, left-click on the "Appearance" line. On the right side of the window, a list with the wallpapers you added will become available.
Step 6
The thumbnail of the current theme will be displayed as you see it in your browser window. Other skins will have a standard icon. To view a particular skin, click on the "More" link. To install it instead of the current one, click on the "Enable" button. The new settings will be applied immediately, there is no need to restart the browser.
