The lists of users' friends on the VKontakte social network are visible to everyone who visits the page. If you want to hide any of your contacts from others, change your profile settings.
Instructions
Step 1
Launch your preferred browser and go to the site of the social network "VKontakte" in it. Enter your personal username and password in the appropriate fields to log into your account and get to the main profile page.
Step 2
Pay attention to the menu on the left side of the page and click on the item "My settings". Go to the "Privacy" tab. In the "My Page" section, click on the item "Who can be seen in the list of my friends and subscriptions". In the window that appears, click in turn on those users from your list of friends whom you want to hide, as a result of which they will move to the right side of the window. Click "Save Changes".
Step 3
Specify additional privacy settings by clicking on the item "Who sees my hidden friends." For example, if you want no one of their VKontakte users to see them, select the "Only me" item. You can also make hidden pages visible only to certain contacts or only friends of your friends, etc. Please note that your privacy settings also apply to your subscriptions, which are displayed in a separate list on the home page.
Step 4
Scroll down the page with the changed settings and click on the link "View how other users see the page". So you can check how the changed friends list will look from the outside, and whether you did everything right.
