Step 1
The first step is to disable the download of unnecessary media files. To do this, in the Internet Explorer browser, click the "Tools" menu item, then "Internet Options", "Advanced" and view the proposed list. Disable all unnecessary elements by unchecking the checkboxes opposite the names.
Step 2
Check if you have already downloaded files set to auto-save. Go to the "General" tab and see if there is a check mark next to the item "Delete browsing history on exit". Then click the "Options" button next to this item and configure the storage of temporary Internet files, as it is convenient for you.
Step 3
Remove from startup all unnecessary programs that may take up part of the Internet channel or consume system resources. All running programs are usually displayed in the tray - the area of the taskbar next to the clock. All running processes can be viewed in the task manager (right-click on the taskbar and select the appropriate item from the menu). However, do not delete processes without knowing exactly what they are intended for - this will lead to an emergency shutdown of the system.
Step 4
Check your computer for viruses. Quite often, computers are infected with viruses that block other programs from accessing the Internet. Use an effective antivirus and keep it up to date. If you keep the operating system in order, do not overload the RAM with an abundance of programs and prevent a virus from entering the system, the Internet speed will be limited only by the capabilities of the hardware and the terms of the tariff plan.

In general, we can say that the increase in speed depends on many factors, but basically everything depends on the provider that provides the services, so try to connect the most optimal tariffs for your computer so that you do not experience problems when using the Internet in the future.
