When working on the Internet, various elements of pages get into the browser cache, speeding up the loading of sites when they are visited again. In the event that the contents of the cache cause incorrect loading of pages or the user wants to delete all information about visited pages from the computer, clear the cache.

Step 1
Browsers provide appropriate options to remove information from the cache. So if you are working in the most famous and widespread browser Internet Explorer, to clear the cache, open the menu item "Tools" and select "Internet Options" - "General". In the window that opens, find "Temporary Internet files" and click the "Delete" button. The uninstallation process may take some time. After its completion, click the "OK" button.

When working in the Mozilla Firefox browser, open the menu item "Tools", then "Options". In the window that opens, select the "Advanced" - "Network" tab. In the Offline Storage section, click the Clean Now button, then click OK.

If you are using the Opera browser, to clear the cache, select the "Delete personal data" item in the "Tools" menu. A window will appear in which you can choose which data should be deleted. After that click "Delete" and close the window. You can also clear the cache like this: open: "Service" - "Settings" - "Advanced" - "History". In the window that opens, click the "Clear" button. You can configure automatic clearing of the cache on shutdown by checking the "Clear on exit" item.

If using the Google Chrome browser, open the settings by clicking on the wrench icon. Select Tools, then Clear Browsing Data. In the window that opens, mark what data should be deleted, in this case it is the cache. Click the Delete Browsing Data button.

Clearing the cache in Safari is easy: open the Edit menu item, select Clear Cache and click Clear.

Clearing the cache is especially useful if you are using someone else's computer. To ensure that no one traces which sites you visit, always clear the cache and history - it stores links to all the pages you viewed.
