To show a friend a new joke of your favorite media character, you do not need to send a file with information via e-mail or instant messenger. It is enough to copy the link to the source from the address bar into the message field and click the submit button.

Step 1
The browser address bar is in the top toolbar. It begins with the characters ftp: //, https:// https:// or similar, and then the page address itself follows. Hover over and click on it to highlight. Then right-click and select Copy. Then press the message input field again press the right button and select the "Insert" command, then - "Send". Combinations with the right button can be replaced with the combinations “Ctrl-C”, “Ctrl-V”, respectively.
Step 2
If the link is too long and the messenger cannot transmit it in its entirety, use the service for creating short links. One of them is goo.gl. Enter the address copied from the address bar in the appropriate field, click the “Shorten” button and copy the new, shortened address. Paste it in the same way in the message and send it to a friend.
Step 3
Another service has the same short name - Ks.gs. The principle of its operation is the same: insert a long link, press a button, copy a short address. You can share the shortened link with anyone.
Step 4
The go-url.ru service allows not only shortening links, but adding keywords and the name of the site. The main area of application of such abbreviations is social networks like “Facebook” and “VKontakte”.
