If you download a file using a download manager, the most important thing for you will be the download speed of the downloaded file. To maximize the speed at which it downloads, set the maximum number of simultaneously downloaded files to one. Set the download priority to the highest priority and do not launch the browser until the download is complete.

When using a torrent, you must disable the download speed limit, if it is, and set the maximum upload speed equal to one kilobit per second. Do not run programs that can use network access. Set the highest priority for the active download.

Thus, regardless of the program that is used, the main optimization rule is to disable all processes that can use the Internet and, if possible, set the maximum priority for the problem being solved at the moment. If you need to combine several processes, for example, torrent download and web surfing, you need to limit the download speed to seventy to eighty percent of the maximum channel speed.
