A hit counter is a product provided by search engines that collects information about the total number of visitors to a site. It looks like a small block at the bottom of the page and is available on almost every resource. Also, the counter allows you to find out for what requests the site was found and from which links the transitions were made, so that all this will be useful for the administrator.

Step 1
Adding an attendance counter in the Rambler Top100 system is carried out as follows:
Go to the "Top100" section on the Rambler main page or at top100.rambler.ru
Step 2
Start registration by reading the terms of service: enter your email address in the registration form and choose a password for your account in the "Top100" system.

A letter will be sent to your mailbox with a link that you need to follow to activate. Another activation option is to place a file with a special code in the site directory and then click "Activate".

Now you need to specify the address of your site by selecting "Add site", and after entering the confirmation code, fill in the fields with information about the site ("Announcement", "Description", etc.). It takes into account the title, specialization, keywords related to the content on the site.
The "Select Geographic Scope" option sorts requests by the requestor's location, so it makes sense to make it wider or designate the regions from which the maximum number of requests is expected.
Your task is to select as fully and accurately as possible the search data corresponding to the resource, which will be suitable for user requests.
Step 5
To increase the number of visits to the site, you can add synonyms for the main page, if it has additional addresses.
After registration you will receive your unique counter in HTML code and logo. You can customize the design of the counter, for example, set your own color parameters, animation / static.

6. The code must be placed at the end of the page, in code editing mode, before the / body tag in HTML format (select "Paste Special").
After you enter it into the site code, it will be displayed on the main page, but sometimes the counters are put on several at once. The data from them will be summed up in the indicator of the total site traffic.
