Compositionally, the background of the site should not come to the fore and distract attention from the information on the page. When choosing an image, follow the rules of color. Choose a textured image in which you can later change the color scheme, not the plot.

Download a graphic editor and create a template for the future background. Work with a file with more than 800 * 600 pixels per inch. Adjust the brightness and contrast of the picture. Save it in jpeg format with the best quality.

Depending on which website builder you are using, the sequence of steps may differ. Load your site and go to the edit menu. Go to the "Working with style" tab, go to the "Background Swatches" section.
Step 4
You will see a fairly large selection of standard background options. Scroll through them to the end and click on the button to upload your image, then click on the "Browse" button and attach the created file.
Step 5
Wait for the full download and do not switch bookmarks on the Internet. Edit the image to fit your page format. Choose full filling of the sheet, fix the background for all pages of the site. Check the combination of your chosen template and background, adjust the overall color gamut and save the changes.
