Many torrent networks use user ratings counting, which is influenced by the amount of information given to other members of the network. Users with high ratings are provided with various benefits for downloading information from a torrent tracker. One way to increase your rankings is to increase your upload speed.
Necessary
Torrent client such as uTorrent 2.0
Instructions
Step 1
Contact your internet service provider and change your plan to a new one with higher outgoing traffic speeds. Change provider if necessary. If you are using a dial-up connection, switch to DSL or cable. You can check the speed of your connection on the websit
Step 2
Close all programs that are in any way connected to the Internet and are not used to download / upload files. Whenever possible, use your computer to upload / distribute information when you are not working on it.
Step 3
Optimize your torrent client settings. To do this, remove the restriction on the maximum upload speed. Right-click on the uTorrent icon and select "Unlimited" for the menu item "Upload limitation".
Step 4
Open the "Settings" item in the main menu and select the "Speed" line. For the global upload speed limit, set the value to "No limit (0)". Uncheck the box for the menu item to limit the upload speed when there are no downloads. In addition, set the maximum values: for connections - 50, for peers per torrent - 80. Set 30 upload slots per torrent.
Step 5
In the "Priority" line, set the maximum number of active torrents to 15. Uncheck the box that restricts the upload after the active torrent has finished uploading. Give your uploads a higher priority than your downloads.
