One of the coolest things about Metro Exodus is that allies are needed here not just for show, but also in order to ensure a good ending. Therefore, it is important to know what actions need to be taken to achieve a good ending to the story.
Who are the allies?
There are three of them - Alyosha, Damir and Prince. These are the fighters who will join Artyom at the Taiga, Caspian and Volga levels, respectively. During the passage of Metro Exodus, Artem, the main character, by the will of the player, will go through missions secretly or ahead of time. And any careless action is the death of one of the characters. Unfortunately, death in this case means a bad ending. What to do?
How to keep the Prince alive
It is enough to fulfill the following conditions at the Volga level:
- Escape the church unnoticed. In order to do this, you need to go to the very top of the church, and then climb through the window and stun opponents.
- Capture the tug. To do this, you need to take it from the merchant clan in a peaceful way. It is important here not to shoot at all and to capture the main one. He himself will order his men to lay down their arms.
- Speak with Cult Leader Silantius. The principle is the same - at the end of the chapter you need to reach the leader of the Aki Ninja Cult, without killing.
The next character is Damir.
How to keep Damir alive
Damir is a character who will join the team at the “Caspian” level. There are slaves here who obey the Baron. And the main task of Artyom (and the player) is to save the slaves in stealth mode. And in order for Damir to become part of the team, you need to find a photograph of the family of the character Gul (aka Gulnara) in the bunker.
How to keep Alyosha alive
He is on the "Taiga" level, and here you also need to go through the chapter in stealth mode. Plus, you need to be good in relation to the inhabitants and, on occasion, release the captives. Opponents need to be stunned. As a result, Olga, who lives with Alyosha, will let him go on a good journey.
What will be in the end
As mentioned above, if no one dies, it will be a good ending, during which Artyom will urgently need a blood transfusion after some events. And it is important to save the lives of at least two people from the team, but then you need to be a good person throughout the game. Therefore, it is better not to take risks and ensure that all team members are saved.
And vice versa - if someone from the team dies or leaves in search of their own path, there will be not enough blood. Then Artyom will not be able to save, and the player will witness a solemn farewell to the main character. But here, too, there is a small plus - Artyom will again see those who left the world of Metro in the first parts.
A couple of conclusions
In total, two conclusions can be drawn - if you play ahead, the three important friends described above will either help shoot back (and die), or simply jump off the distance for their own purposes. And the second conclusion - for those who want a happy end, the game will be quiet. That is, Metro Exodus will not have those "postrelushki" that were in the previous parts.
