Step 1
The very first game called Prince of Persia was released back in 1989 and is the author's development of the programmer Jordan Meckner. In 2003, 2004, 2005 and 2010, re-releases were released with modern graphics and gameplay in the style of Third person action, which had additional titles: The Sands of Time, Warrior Within, The Two Thrones and The Forgotten Sands … The style of the games is similar to the original: you still need to complete levels, solving puzzles, avoiding obstacles and fighting enemies. However, now the prince has the ability - by pressing a special key (by default Shift and the right mouse button), using a magic dagger, he slows down time or rewinds it back, which helps to defeat enemies more effectively and prevent death in case of falling into a trap.
Step 3
In 2008, the series spun off and a game was released with the original title: Prince of Persia. It is closer to the very first development more than the "sand" series. The playstyle and character controls have undergone significant changes. Now, in addition to the prince, players have the opportunity to control his partner Elika, who helps the main character climb into previously inaccessible places. To perform acrobatic stunts, it is now enough to press 1-2 keys, while previously it was necessary to build whole combinations for this. Fighting with enemies has also become easier. The prince was endowed with several abilities, one of which was the rewind of time, beloved by the players.
