Many Internet resources require registration to use. As a result of this operation, the user receives an account, to enter which he is provided with a username and password.
Instructions
Step 1
Before registering on a particular resource, check if it supports logging in through Gmail, Facebook, OpenID or similar services. If you already have an account in one of the services supported by the server, and you want to appear on the site under the same nickname under which you are registered in such a service, just select the appropriate option and enter the site.
Step 2
Registration on most servers requires an email account. If you don't have it yet (which, however, is extremely rare today), create it. Remember also that some resources do not allow the use of e-mail addresses located on certain servers. If your mailbox is located on an unsupported server, and you do not have it on another server, first create an account on it.
Step 3
Find on the main page of the site or in the forum located on it a link called "Register", "Register", "Register", "Sign up" (not to be confused with "Sing in") or similar. Follow it.
Step 4
Fill in those of the input fields that are marked as required. In the rest, enter the data as desired. Select the desired nickname. The input field for the password is usually present in two copies - fill them in the same way. Make the password complex and remember it well. Be sure to enter a real email address, otherwise you will not be able to receive a message to confirm your registration. Correctly decipher the captcha - a set of characters to check if you are not or you are a robot.
Step 5
Log in to your email inbox. Wait for the message that the registration was successful. Follow the long link in the message and your registration will be confirmed. If the message contains a clear text password, delete it. Then delete this message from the mailbox recycle bin as well.
Step 6
Try to enter the site using the username and password you received. Remember to log out after you finish using the resource.
