Mms is a service of multimedia messages sent via cellular communication. Combining the functions of SMS and WAP, these messages allow you to send text and graphic or sound information.
In order to send and receive mms messages, make sure your phone supports this service. The mobile device itself must be equipped with a color screen to be able to display photos and pictures, play video and audio files. With the help of mms, it is possible to reproduce an image with a resolution of up to 640 × 480 pixels and small videos with a duration of 20 to 40 seconds. In general, the size of an mms message should not exceed 300 kB.
The mms service is connected free of charge by each mobile operator, however, to use it, you need to save the settings of the service provider, suitable specifically for your mobile phone. You can request settings for MMS and WAP from a technical support representative of the company “customer support number 0611. The operator will send you SMS messages with further instructions for connecting the MMS service to your phone.
If the size of the received mms message exceeds the maximum size allowed or your phone does not support the resolution of the received files and cannot play them, then instead of the media image you will receive a web link to your mms. Copy this link and paste it into the address bar of the Internet browser on your phone using the Beeline WAP-connection service. Your multimedia message will open via the internet connection on your phone.
If your account does not have enough funds to use a WAP connection, look at the mms message from your computer. To do this, open a browser on your computer and enter the address (web link) received by mms into the address bar.
