Social networks are extremely popular not only among young people, but also among adults, for whom the Internet is becoming a means of communicating with their busy children or old friends. It is most convenient to search for a user by name, so pay attention to this column when registering.
Instructions
Step 1
The social network "My World" allows you to change the personal data that you entered when registering in the system. At the same time, you can hide some information, and some will have to be made public, otherwise the registration will not be completed. To change the details of your account in "My World", go to the main page of this social network, log in so that the system will recognize your page.
Step 2
Look at the details of your profile. You see them next to the photo. If you are not satisfied with the name and surname, click on the "Detailed profile" button, which is located at the top of the screen among your data.
Step 3
You have opened personal data. This shows the information that is visible to users when they view your profile. For convenience, it is divided into columns: personal data, education, career, location, personal information, type, interests. Each column is edited separately.
Step 4
To change the first and last name entered when registering in My World, click on "Edit Personal Information" in the "General" column.
Step 5
You can see that the first name, last name and nickname fields are required. Move the cursor over the filled-in field "Alias", press the left mouse button, activating the line of text. Delete the old information and enter the new one. If necessary, do the same for the first and last names. If you wish, write your maiden name in the separate field.
Step 6
In the column "Personal data" you can edit your date of birth and marital status, if necessary.
Step 7
Please note that the data you recorded can be open to all users of the social network. If you agree to this, put a tick in the box "Display this data in my profile in the Mail. Ru Agent and allow other users to find me using this data."
Step 8
Click the "Save" button to confirm your actions.
